Do
you need some inspiration? Do you want to learn a new technique? Do you just
need some ideas? Check out our selection of books we have in
the Lending Library.
REQUIREMENTS:
You must have been active, that is, showing us your work, giving an
opinion, letting us get to know you, for three months. You can then
borrow books from our library. All books will be lent for two weeks.
The books are located at
http://tinyurl.com/2fql3
Look through the pictures, and when you see something you would like
to borrow, make a note of the photo number. After you have seen all of
the pictures, leave a message in the guest book with the number(s) of
the book(s) that interest you. I will then email you for your address, and
possibly give a shipping date.
Books will be mailed via Priority Mail, with delivery confirmation as
a tracking agent. We don't want your books to get lost, now do we?
If there is a book you would like to see, and we don't have it, give a
shout out to the list, and we will try to find it.
DONATIONS:
Donations are always welcome. I'll do my best to give you all the
credit I can. I'll make sure we all know who donated any book I
receive.
Any kind of book is welcome, as long as it would pertain, in any way,
to any aspect of clay. Be it a child's picture book that inspired you
or that you think might inspire someone else, or a science fiction
reference book. Some members of this group are heavy science fiction
junkies. Money donations are also welcome. This will help cover the cost of
postage. I wouldn't mind covering it, but if you ask my husband if he would,
well, let's just say he's not as polite as me. It could be as small as
fifty cents. Hey, every penny helps. It would be greatly appreciated,
but not necessary, if you borrow a book, and it helps you, to help us.
A lot of the time I might get you to send a book to the next person on
the list for that book. When I do, I'll give you the address, and the
date it needs to be sent. When this happens, you will need to pay
postage. You would have to pay it, anyway, to send it back to the
library. This saves time and money for all of us.
If there is no one on the list for a book you have, and you would like
to keep it a little longer, email me and let me know. If we have no
one waiting for it, you will be able to renew it. If there is someone,
you will have to let them have their turn, then you can have it sent
back to you. This is only fair.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at
denise@austin.rr.com
I will
try to get back to you as fast as
possible. Please remember that sometimes people get busy or life gets
in the way, so it might not be in five minutes that I can get back to
you. BUT rest assured, I will.
