Fearless Leader: Ok
Fearless Leader: first let's start out with some DOD chop
lindaslists: ok
lindaslists: dod chop1
Fearless Leader: just say when Linda
lindaslists: ok When you see a number after a pic I have just saved it
Fearless Leader: ok, coolness
Fearless Leader: then we slice some narrow strips
Fearless Leader: like that
lindaslists: strips1
Fearless Leader: then you roll them up
Fearless Leader: Like that
lindaslists: make them like snakes?
Fearless Leader: yes
Fearless Leader: as small as your kernels are going to be
lindaslists: just a minute
Fearless Leader: ok
lindaslists: ok
Fearless Leader: then you cut them into lengths and line them up
Fearless Leader: like this
lindaslists: ok
Fearless Leader: make a cob of filler clay, any color it's not going
to show
Fearless Leader: like that
lindaslists: ok
Fearless Leader: Then you slice off the kernals and lay them staggered
on a cob, like this
lindaslists: ok
lindaslists: slice off the exess to taper
Fearless Leader: Now we can cover the cob just like this
Fearless Leader: and then add leaves
frogger70301: cool
frogger70301: That was easy
Fearless Leader: there
lindaslists: just a minute
Fearless Leader: ok
lindaslists: ok, had to save the pics I had
lindaslists: can't wait to try this
Fearless Leader: it's so easy
Fearless Leader: and you don't have to cover the whole cob
Fearless Leader: if the kernels aren't going to show
Fearless Leader: because of the husks
Fearless Leader: they would make nice beads
lindaslists: cool
Fearless Leader: and hanging off of ears
lindaslists: earrings
Fearless Leader: yup
lindaslists: yes
Fearless Leader: for fall
frogger70301: that sounds cute
Fearless Leader: or for Kwanzaa celebrations

lindaslists left the room
linda_d_45419 joined the room
frogger70301: Hey, Lindy.
frogger70301: right person, huh?
Fearless Leader: back
linda_d_45419: hi there. just happened to stumble in on this one! i
seem to miss all the ones i really want to see
Fearless Leader: naw, what do you want Linda
Fearless Leader: I'm up for short order claying
Fearless Leader: something just for you
linda_d_45419: leaves and zebras!
Fearless Leader:
Fearless Leader: Ok, how about leaves first
Fearless Leader: you want green leaves, autumn leaves?
linda_d_45419: cool. i have bought SO MUCh clay!
Fearless Leader: do you have any sheets prepared?
Fearless Leader: you'll need at least two colors, maybe three
Fearless Leader: for segments for the leaves and the veins
frogger70301: Hey, NJ.
Fearless Leader: Yes, Mitch
frogger70301: Not to change the subject or anything
Fearless Leader: whazzyp?
linda_d_45419: just show me....i will memorize it all!
Fearless Leader: go for it
frogger70301: But I figured out something cool
Fearless Leader: yes, honey, do share and I'll prep sheets
frogger70301: Take the ends od the skinners and marble them
frogger70301: And use that for the space in the center vein
Fearless Leader: that would work, yes
Fearless Leader: changing cam angles
frogger70301: Yeah, it makes a mottled color in there.
frogger70301: Loioks gorgeous.
linda_d_45419: hey! i sold something! i am going to get a vendors
license and spend the whole winter making eggs and bottles. (my life
is really dull!)
frogger70301: that's great.
frogger70301: what you sold?
linda_d_45419: yep, i took a covered bottle with 2 flowers and no
leaves  to work, someone fell in love with it. voila' a sale! now i am
raring to go
frogger70301: that is wonderful
frogger70301 enthusiastically cheers for linda_d_45419
linda_d_45419: thanks...you guys do such beautiful stuff, i want to be
an artiste too!
frogger70301: brb
frogger70301: back
frogger70301: have you gals ever tried mixing blue and silver clay?
Fearless Leader: The Water Planet Jewelry on my site
frogger70301: it almost comes out looking likedenim.
Fearless Leader: blue and silver
Fearless Leader: went to the UnCon and to a Prom
Fearless Leader: on the first Tour
frogger70301: oh cool.
linda_d_45419: i have to wait for sunday to use my 50% coupon and buy
another metallic set at joannes, i know i have used up all of the
silver
frogger70301: That would make a pretty basket weave, wouldn't it?
frogger70301: I'm always hurting for metallics.
Fearless Leader: ok
Fearless Leader: so I cut silver, black, white, gold, colbalt blue
Fearless Leader: pearl blue
Fearless Leader: pearl green
Fearless Leader: gold and yellow
Fearless Leader: and I'm going to press them and then start making
blends
Fearless Leader: trick with yellow right out of the package
Fearless Leader: is it's very translucent
Fearless Leader: if you're putting yellow next to a dark color
Fearless Leader: add a touch of white
Fearless Leader: so the yellow will show up
Fearless Leader: and not be a yellow clear window that doesn't reflect
the color back
Fearless Leader: folks expecting yellow stripes
Fearless Leader: get disappointed if they don't do this
Fearless Leader: so, off to press sheets and start making blends
Fearless Leader: unless there's any questions
linda_d_45419: im ok
frogger70301: me 2
linda_d_45419: taking notes very fast!
Fearless Leader: copy the text
linda_d_45419: ah! good plan!
Fearless Leader: select all, copy and paste to an email to yourself
