The Viz part two.
04-03-08: An agent thought my updated resume was amusing and called me
about an AP job with a "Japanese media company". He told me where they were
located so I googled them and they are
VIZ. The entire family fell
on the floor. Naruto is
one of their titles.
I so want this job. Casual every day. There's a funny disclaimer on their
job page, warning applicants that they might be exposed to nudity, graphic
sexuality and violence as part of their day to day job. LOL Ok, sign
me up.
There's two people ahead of me and I hope they are so straight that when
they go there the skills aren't as important as being able to fit in and
learn a thing. I was honest about being a Boomer. I'd probably be the
Obachan (grandmother) of the administrative department.
AP has been part of my skill set but not a total focus. I did some online
tutorials and I figured it's learnable. Fits in with my three planets in
Virgo.
So the family is crossing their fingers, toes and eyes, hoping that I get
this job. If I'm going to have to make money I'd rather have a full time job
with benefits. It takes less time to do that than make the same amount of
money selling beads. Since I've hosted the clayart list for years while I
was working elsewhere, plus having the best team of Moderators helping me, I
know the list will be in good hands when I'm at work. I can focus on doing
tutorials when at home.
This is a job that's special made for me. I put the picture of the lady
casting the shadow of the fox on my main home page because
Naruto's background is the
magical fox. I do hope someone in Viz checks out my home page. That would be
a nice ice breaker. |
