05-15-08 Ain't that a funny picture. I found it on Craig's List M4W, some guy complaining about how women are looking for a perfect man. Well hey, the men there are specifying bra cup size and political affiliation from the women they are seeking. Women would like to find a man who would pick up his underwear off of the floor.

Bronze the day. I got half of the Epson screen shots up on photo gallery pages and am editing the links on the pages where they were mentioned. Whew and double whew. I figured I should make hay while the moon was in Virgo. Little astrology humor there.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about... for a couple of years I did webcam demos. Two or three days a week, every week, for a couple of years.

Volunteers took screen shots and I stored them in my Epson photo storage account. Then Epson limited the amount of storage to 100 megs and I had 400 megs there. I put a shout out to the ClayMates and a half a dozen volunteers came forward and laboriously copied each picture and loaded them into a half dozen Epson account.

Whew.

Then a couple of months ago Epson announces that it is closing the photo storage free service and I about fainted. If it weren't for Denise sending me a CD with a boatload of albums full of screen shots I would have had to copy each picture individually on all those accounts. Some albums had over 100 screen shots.

As Craig Ferguson would say, "I KNOW!"

Getting the screen shots on photo gallery pages is a snap of the fingers. Finding and fixing all the links is pain in the ass slow. Jeese louise, I'm finding "red x" pictures and broken links from when I had the biz site. So as I'm updating the screen shot links I find other things to fix.

What I'd like to do is re-do the whole danged website. One day folks would click the Tute list to get to their favorite donut tutorial and it'll be like Mission Organization swooped in like a SWAT team and straightened everything out. But if I did that I'd get hate mail. People who have my tutorials linked on their website would gnash their teeth. Also I'd feel really bad for Diane Black of GlassAttic I did two switch-a-roos on her in the last 9 years and if I did it again she'd have to edit a mess of pages. That alone prevents me from doing any major re-org.
