I'm a little disappointed that I don't have any digital pictures of the tiny shoes I made out of leopard spot cane. I gave them to Ms. Ruth when I was doing Elder Care in Tiburon. I took what ever I made during demo to work to show her and she fell in love with the tiny jacket and the tiny shoes. I do have pictures of the tiny leopard spot jacket, but try as I may, I can't find any good shots of the tiny shoes. I'll have to make new ones. I really want to make a whole bunch of tiny shoes and use them as beads. When I get done with the screen shot photo gallery pages I have to work on the heads for the claymation project. When that's done I will make those tiny shoes. I don't have any leopard spot cane left over so it'll be a good tutorial. I need a good zebra tutorial as well. I'm not happy with what I have on the site. It's been good for me to review the webcam demos that I did over the years. It makes me want to do more demos, when everyone thinks I've quite demos for life. I just got burnt out, had too many canes in designs and colors that the ClayMates wanted but I didn't. This time around I'm going to make what I want to make. Folks can hang out and watch but I had so much left over green from all the leaf canes I did I used those scraps exclusively for the faces and face molds for the claymation project. I don't think that the attendees of the demos realize that I buy the clay as well as do the demos. It doesn't occur to them that it takes time to prep, do the demo, clean up, and then do the web work afterwards. They show up and chat with each other, open their own webcams and talk over the question and answer portion of the chat. That can't happen in the future demos. That was part of what burnt me out. I will limit the amount of people who can attend. If they can't figure out how to get my cam open I don't think I'll have a lot of patience this time around. I'm also thinking about doing some more YouTube clay tutorials. Part of the "beginners" series. There's a lot of people who are just starting with polymer clay and the basic techniques of stacked sheets, chevron flips, bulls eyes, lace cane, etc. just baffle them. If they could see it done in motion pictures it would help them a lot. I have 154 subscribers so far and they would be shocked to have something new from me.
