05/23/08: Bronze yesterday: I reached "desktop" in my work space re-org. It got "snuck up on" in the Mars in Cancer side stepping approach. The Valentine's present computer started it. After moving my old computer tower the space changed. Once the re-org got started, albeit slowly, it revved up into a frenzy.

"05-22-08 Re-Org - Taking a break from rebuilding the former Epson albums and doing a re-org on my work table. "

I've been feeling the urge to do some sewing and my sewing machine has been in storage so long that my current husband of nearly 12 years has never seen me sew with the machine. He's seen me do a lot of hand sewing: patching his pockets, fixing zippers on his Levis, etc. It dawned on me just how long I've been mourning my former sewing partner, Justin, who died in 1990, 6 years before James and I got married.

Now I have to dig around to find my 3in1 oil, sewing machine tools, check the sewing machine needles to see if they've gone rusty after all these years of not being used. There's 10 boxes of fabric that's stashed in different hidey holes around the apartment.

It's odd that there's this whole other side of my craft life that James has not seen. I also realized the other day he didn't know the joke, "Don't Touch My Moustache" as a play on "doitashimashite (doh ee tah she mah she teh) = You're welcome, in Japanese.

"How can you be married to a half Jap for nearly a dozen years and you don't know that joke?"  I asked rhetorically. Just shows to me that there's still a ton of stuff for us to learn about each other after all these years. He doesn't seem to be in any hurry to bugger off, for those who know the weird scene here. Today, he said he's starting to understand his Sagittarius nature. "I'll be passionately involved with something and then grow tired of it."

With Memorial week-end being a three day week-end I suggested to James, weeks ago, to put one vacation day in front and in back of the three days and have five days off of work. He did. He needed the time off, South Node in Taurus he collects stuff and collecting vacation days is not prudent.

I'm glad that David Cook won American Idol. James really wanted him to, voted for him - even. I've been finding news articles and blogs about DC and reading them funniest or most interesting out loud to James while he plays EQII. It's been a pleasant vacation for him so far. When ever someone comes up in the news and James makes mention of them I'll look for their natal charts and holler out the squares and oppositions I find. Fun stuff when the family understands astrology.

Oh Bushyaib said the most interesting thing. I was discussing stalkers and wondering whether it's a bio-chemical disruption or some astrological leaning (like stelliums in Scorpio) that would motivate someone to be a stalker. He said there's no stalker who doesn't have something s/he is hiding from themselves that need to be addressed, something that has nothing to do with the object of their obsession. I almost dropped the dishes as I prepared dinner. "That's brilliant!". He likens it to OCD. I still want to check the charts of famous stalkers and see if there's an astrological trend.
