San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom plants vegetables in front of City Hall.

I've been saying that Victory Gardens will be a big trend with the price of food increasing. Now San Francisco City Hall will have a garden instead of inedible sod. I'm so proud of Gavin Newsom for taking this step. The food harvested will be donated to the food bank to help needy families. If all lawns were turned into food gardens we'd not only have less hungry families, we'd have more healthy families.
