Corn Group

To get the different colors in the clay for the Indian corn I mixed different colors: yellow, red, yellow and a little red, red with a little yellow, brown, beige and rolled really narrow logs the diameter of the corn kernels. Laid them out side by side to match the length of the corn cob of white uncured Sculpey. Then cut them across the logs and attached them with the blade of my razor to the corn cob. The next row got attached going in the other direction and up a kernel. The next row got turned around and dropped down a kernel. and you repeat a couple of these rows and then cover the majority of the corn with its "husks".
