The 6 legged sports spider Everything looks good with Leopard print I'll do the rest tomorrow Amy is due home any minute
I had a paper lantern, aluminum foil, floral tape, spray adhesive and a brain fart. First spray the adhesive on the opened end of the aluminum foil legs, hold in place until it sticks, then tape it down with floral tape. Wad some news print to make a head. I covered it with another sheet of news print to fashion a neck. To make a neck I ran floral tape around the neck, opened the excess news print, sprayed adhesive, held it in place, and then taped the crap out of it. I had a leopard spot plastic bag that I used as a table covering for about 6 years. I hated to throw it away and I'm glad I didn't. Spray adhesive is my new best friend. Now if I had planned this out I might have figured an easier way to do this, but I had 24 hours notice. I got this far and had to hide it before Amy got home. Bushyaib and I were giggling in secret and then holding our faces straight when Amy was around. My new best friend "YES" paste, has the consistency of vasoline, water soluable, and it is "slow setting" so I can take my time. Slather "YES" on the legs and wrap yarn around the legs. Oh with the legs covered and bent it's really starting to look like a spider. That's Bushyaib's arm. That dragon tattoo still has to be filled in with color. Anyway, it's difficult to see where the head ends and the body begins. But the eyes and red lips make me laugh, a lot. If I had more than 24 hours notice, if I had a plan, this spider pinata would have false eyelashes, little red Minnie Mouse high heel shoes, maybe some jewelry. But this ain't bad for short notice. Amy loved it.
