The basket weave technique is a favorite in Demo because it is like doing a magic trick. Take three slices of basket weave, connect them at their side edges. Press to a black background sheet. Trim the excess. Then with gentle determination you curve that resulting rectangle into a "U" shape. Once done back it again with black and press pointing the bottom of the "U" going in first. It will spread out the design showing the color and when you connect the top part of the "U" shape into tubes, and the bottom into a bowl shape you have a large but very light weight pendant.
