Fearless Leader: Fun, I love mini food as jewelry because it just sensitizes folks to the whole concept of mini and equating them with fun and personal adornment Fearless Leader: I cure everything for a half an hour at 260-ish Katie: thanks Fearless Leader: and if there's many layers like with the African couple, I'll cure them over and over but always for a half an hour at the temperature recommended by the clay manufacturer Fearless Leader: when folks say, oh for minis don't cure so long Fearless Leader: or don't cure so high Fearless Leader: I say, ok, and have minis that will break and crumble on you then Fearless Leader: it's for one fourth inch thickness that half hour at the right temp Fearless Leader: that's mini size really Katie: ok Fearless Leader: also my body is now timed to feel a half an hour Fearless Leader: like a basket ball player knows 35 seconds to throw without a clock counting down Fearless Leader: I am always going to check clay things a couple of minutes before the timer goes off Fearless Leader: when I forget to turn off the timer I end up scaring myself while fiddling with hot clay things Fearless Leader: BRRRRIIIINNNGGGGG Fearless Leader: Yikes Fearless Leader: I feel like the Lucy Ricardo of clay dahs512: lol Katie: Ha Fearless Leader: this loaf would make the perfect bread baking scene Fearless Leader: one long loaf coming out of the stove techi_mom56: laugh...
