Three colors that need to be mixed, warm from getting chopped in a food processor. My wrists were sore from too much claying so I figured... I still have feet. It was surprising how warm the clay gets from getting chopped in the food processor. It was weird to feel that with my feet. The process of mixing clay colors is to knead the clay like you're baking bread. Fold and Mash and I got to share a story about this set of pictures... I was bending over, snapping photos of my feet as I folded and mashed the clay. My youngest son, Said, walked by and he could only see my back and the flash of the camera... "Mom! What ARE you doing?!" He yelled, making me jump .... "Dude. I'm conditioning clay with my feet and taking pictures of it..." I said defensively. "What you think I was doing?" I asked him. "I dunno," he says still worked up about how it 'seemed'.... "Porn or something..." he trails off now that he says it out loud and realizes that's silly. "Oh, yeah, right." I said "Like I'm going to be shooting porn shots, in the middle of the day, with people in the apartment." I muttered. "I got more sense than that.." I said to his back as he walked into the kitchen, shaking his head. Ok, the final twist of the three colors that got mixed and it didn't take but a short (and true) story to get through it. Xev2 was going to get covered with this mixed clay. One of the early sculpting efforts of mine and one that didn't turn out that great.
